Are there any former greats actually in this bad of shape though? Hacksaw was bailed out by Vince, Jake can still do indy bookings to fuel his coke habit
enough. There are plenty of outlets now to try and help these guys out. Sure, it's not WCW throwing money away on them, but they can still, if smart enough
which is the real key, survive enough.

There have to be guys out there living in trailers accepting an Indy gig whenever they can. Hell, Marty Janetty, the Sheik, and Greg Valentine still work shows
off and on whenever they can and are both in terrible, horrible physical shape. Valentine looks like he's going to die just talking.
Abby the Butcher is so fat and has knees so bad at this point that the last show he did they had to remove the ropes to get him into the ring. A lot of people are better off dead. |
