Walking Dead is awesome, though i've not been able to read much of it. I also hear good things about The Goon, Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, and though
it's far past new, if you've never read it you might dig Transmetropolitan.

You may also want to get Batman 675 in which Bruce Wayne flips out in a restaurant and reveals to girlfriend of the month that he's Batman. Talia and
Damian are in it.
