It's fucking weird. Like, I knew dogs could have epilepsy, but thought it was rarer than it is (I've done some reading since),
If you've never seen a dog have a seizure it's almost scary. He falls, shakes and twitches, his limbs go rigid, his mouth foams and drools, sometimes he loses control of bladder and bowels. During the seizure he keeps trying to stand up, which he can't. And then afterward is very confused and, though this hasn't happened to Pestilence yet, they can go blind for a short time.
It's worse still with a two year old and a dachshund that are confused trying to run interference.
I've got to give him pills twice a day, which for a while will make him drowsy.
